HOPEWELL JUNCTION – Shelley R McGrath, 64, an area resident since 1988, passed away on February 2, 2022 at MidHudson Regional Hospital.

Born in Yonkers on August 15, 1957, Shelley was the daughter of the late Arthur and Hylda Holtz. She had been employed as an accountant and bookkeeper at Croton Farms in Brewster for the last 10 years.

Shelley enjoyed being outdoors, including spending a lot of time at her timeshare at Bentley Brooks in MA. Most of all, she loved being with her family and especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Daniel McGrath and his wife Nicole and Christopher McGrath; her grandchildren, Emily McGrath and Christopher "CJ" McGrath, Jr.; her siblings, Edward, Carol, Marcia, Janice, Robert and Mona as well as her former husband who she remained friends with, Paul McGrath; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4- 8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction with a funeral service beginning at 7:30 pm.
