Beacon- Shirley Gurina Feldman a long-time resident of Beacon, NY passed away at home on April 23, 2023. She was 92 years old.

Shirley was born in Valhalla, NY on January 10, 1931, the daughter of Theodore and Hazel (Engelberg) Talbot.

For many years, Shirley worked as a telephone operator at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, NY.

Her pride and joy were her family. She loved them dearly and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with them. She was an avid New York Yankees Fan, loved animals and music and going to the casinos to play the slots.

Shirley is survived by her children Donna (Jim) Yetman and Ernie (Karen) Gurina, her grandchildren: Craig (Toni) Dyckman, Russell (Annie) Yetman and Amanda (Joe) Bliss, as well as her great-grandchildren: Cole, Kane, Grant, and Travis, she is also survived by her older sister Jane Oliva and her very dear friend Jodi.

Shirley is pre-deceased by her first husband Ernest Gurina and second husband Moe Feldman.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday April 26, 2023, at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill Inc. 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY from 3pm-7pm. A service will be Thursday in the funeral home at 10am. Interment to follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
