Sister Leticia Avilés was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador. Most of her religious life was spent in the ministry of Education. She served as a teacher at Sacred Heart School in Costa Rica, at St. Clare's School in the Bronx, NY and as a teacher and principal at Immaculate Conception School in the Bronx, NY. She has also served as a Vocation Director and as a member in the formation team of our Congregation. In her last few years, she has been helping in our Development office. Sister Leticia was a very cheerful and dedicated religious who gave great importance to her personal and communal prayer.
