Stefanie Fink, 92, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 at the Wingate at Dutchess Health Care Facility in Fishkill.

Daughter of the late Frank and Amalia (Kadunc) Meditz, she was born in Gottschee, Austria on January 26, 1927. In 1948, she married Otto Fink in Austria. They emigrated to the United States in 1952 with their family and resided in Ridgewood, Queens for many years.

Stefanie was predeceased by her husband in 1996. In 2012, she and her daughter relocated to Fishkill.

She is survived by her daughter, Helga, at home; two nieces: Lillian Sutton & her husband Don and Inga Colich; her nephew, Frank Meditz; and many other loving relatives & friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Stefanie was also predeceased by her brother, Frank Meditz.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 22 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, Fishkill. A committal service will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 23 at Linden Hill Methodist Cemetery in Ridgewood, Queens.
