Stella Silinsky, 93, a resident of Putnam Ridge for 5 years and previously of Yonkers, died on March 5, 2020 at Putnam Hospital Center.

Born on November 2, 1926 in Yonkers, Stella was the daughter of Stanley and Julia Rambalski. On September 30, 1982, Stella was predeceased by her husband John, a Police Officer with Yonkers Police Department.

Stella was a parishioner of St. Casmir's Church and St. Barth's, both in Yonkers , and was an avid gardener who also loved to sew and cook.

Stella is survived by her daughter, Barbara Levi and her husband David; her grandchildren, Adam Levi and his wife Christina, Lauren Wonsang and her husband Jason; and her great grandchildren, Emma and Dharma. She was predeceased by her son, John Silinsky.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5 pm and Monday from 9 -10am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will held at 10am at the funeral home followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Yonkers.
