Stephen worked as a plumber, formerly for Herlihy Plumbing & Heating in Croton-on-Hudson, and most recently, L.B.R. Plumbing & Heating in Croton Falls.

Stephen had a zest for life. He was a thrill seeker and enjoyed the outdoors. He particularly enjoyed hiking, fishing and snowboarding. He was also quite artistic and enjoyed drawing in his spare time.
Stephen was always the life of the party. His smile was bright and his laugh was contagious. He was a deeply caring person who always strived to do the right thing. He had many loyal friends whom he cherished. His nieces and nephews will miss their "Uncle Stevie". He was the uncle who played videogames, laughed and had fun with them. He was also very proud of them.
Most of all, Stephen loved Trisha. He was overjoyed that they had married and he had big dreams of their future together.
Stephen touched everyone he came in contact with. His family and friends will miss him terribly. If he had a chance to say good-bye, he might say, "Don't cry for me. Death isn't sad. The sad thing is: Most People Don't Live at All. So Live Your Life to the Fullest".
