Croton-on-Hudson – Stephen Cianciulli, a lifelong Westchester area resident, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Phelps Memorial Hospital in Sleepy Hollow. He was 74.

He was born in Mt. Vernon on October 4, 1947 to the late Joseph and Virginia (Springer) Cianciulli. He was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran, having been honorably discharged. During the Vietnam War, Stephen was a Crew Chief on planes going in and out of Vietnam. After the War, he worked as a Dispatcher for Verizon in Mt. Vernon and Valhalla for over 40 years before his retirement.

Stephen cherished spending time with his family & friends especially his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughter, Tina Hunt of Port Chester; his son, Joseph Cianciulli of Poughkeepsie; his grandchildren, Amber, Julia and Amanda Hunt and Miarose Cianciulli; his great-grandchildren, Chase Schwartz and Gianna McClintock; his siblings, Phillip Cianciulli & his wife Joanne, and Gail Ann Anderson; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives & friends.

Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill.
