Stephen Roy Evanietz, 54, a resident of Amenia, NY died on Tuesday, January 22, 2019.

Born in Poughkeepsie on February 12, 1964, Stephen was the son of Leon Evanietz and Mildred (Katowski) Evanietz.

Stephen will always be remembered for his contagious laugh, his smiling eyes, and mischievous smile. A simple man with a big heart who wanted nothing more than to be surrounded by his closest loved ones, all happy and healthy. To an amazing father, a loving spouse, and a great friend - you will be deeply missed and always in our hearts. We love you. Until we see you again...

He is survived by his daughter, Naomi Evanietz of Pleasant Valley; his fiancée, Valerie Grey of Amenia; his siblings, Patricia and Scott Evanietz, and his niece, Brooklyn Evanietz

We will be gathering this Saturday at Hopewell Reformed Church, 143 Beekman Rd, Hopewell Junction from 11am-1pm. A service will be held first then visitation and fellowship will follow.
