Steven S. Zedlovich, 69, a resident of Hopewell Junction for 5 years and formerly of Whitestone, died on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at home.
Born in Whitestone on December 25, 1943, he was the son of Stephen and Anna Keblish Zedlovich. Steven worked in maintenance for Village Park Association and Zed Realty in Whitestone for 35 years until his retirement in 1996. He was a member of St. Gregory Orthodox Church in Wappingers Falls.
On February 23, 1969 in Flushing, Steven married Maria Chahalis, who survives at home. He is also survived by his daughters and their husbands, Cassandra and Josef Abt of Hopewell Junction, Anastasia and James Maxwell of Mahopac; his grandchildren, Sebastian, Alexander, and Victoria Abt, James, Joseph and Daniel Maxwell; and his brother Thomas Zedlovich of Flushing.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2 – 6 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 14-65 Clintonville Street, Whitestone, NY 11357. Interment will follow at Flushing Cemetery.
