STORMVILLE - Susan Sell Brugman Monteferante, 70, a lifelong area resident, passed away on March 24, 2026 at her home.

Born in Ossining on November 7, 1955 , Susan was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Ann (Pabon) Sell. Susan retired in 2020 following a dedicated 20-year career as a driving instructor, beginning at Dutchess School of Driving and later at Brown's Driving School.

Susan enjoyed listening to music and was an avid reader, especially fond of audiobooks. She was also a passionate collector who took great joy in fairies, Tiffany-style lamps, and stained-glass pieces.

On March 19, 2010, she married Joseph E. Monteferante who survives at home. She is also survived by her children and their spouses, Jennifer and Anthony DiBuccio of Edgewater, MD and Scott Westergard and Jeese Hall of Stormville; her grandchildren, Gabriella DiBuccio Ocasio and her husband Nick, Marissa DiBuccio Adams and her husband Sammie, Michael DiBuccio, Malachai Westergard, and Herschel Westergard; her greatgrandchild, Bennett Adams; her sisters, Linda Pasco and April Crifo and her husband Joseph; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Susan was also predeceased by her sister, Donna Bechtold.
