Susanne (Murphy) Glynn, a resident of White Plains, New York for 60 years, Marietta, Georgia for 16 years, and most recently, Wappingers Falls, died at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 79.
Susanne was born in White Plains, New York on September 11, 1942, to the late Roger and Elizabeth (Faulkner) Murphy.
Susanne was a reception and assistant for Dr. Andrew Salzburg in Tarrytown at the New York Group for Plastic Surgery for many years.
She loved to crochet and sew, and paint beautiful artwork, especially of flowers and angels. She had an unusual love for clowns, and Law and Order was always playing on the TV. Susanne had a fondness for all dogs, especially her own.
Susanne is survived by her son, John D. Glynn and his wife, Maria; her daughter, Jacqueline Glynn and Carl Iglesias; her grandson, Justin Wieber; her granddaughter, Jenna Ingrassia; her brother, Donald Murphy; her former sister-in-law, Lorraine Murphy; many nieces and nephews; her Yorkshire Terrier, Nugget; her grand dogs, JD (Rottweiler) and Delta (Beagle); and many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John D. Glynn Sr., her brother, Robert Murphy, and her Maltipoo, Tiffany.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, July 16th at 11:30am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, New York 12533.
