Suzanne Rose Cofer, 55, a resident of Wappingers Falls for 15 years, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center following a brief illness.

Born in Bronxville on October 15, 1960, she was the daughter of Lorraine Taylor and the late Robert D. Taylor. Sue loved her job as Director of The Kids Based Little School in Scarsdale, and was equally loved by her students and fellow staff.

Sue leaves behind her devoted husband Robert R. Cofer who loved her deeply; and her children, Jennifer, James and Matthew of whom she was so proud. She also leaves behind her two sisters and their husbands, Karen and Ron Roane, Kathy and Roger Dann; and her nieces and nephews, Chris, Jessica, Maria, Daniel and Bobby along with Robert's daughter Kimberly Cofer Corbett plus many, many friends who will sorely miss her.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11am at the Hopewell Reformed Church, 143 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction. Memorial donations may be made to
