Tadeusz Brzostowski, 81, an area resident since 1986 and previously of Warsaw, Poland, died on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Westchester Medical Center.
Born on August 20, 1937 in Laskaszew, Poland, Tadeusz was the son of Jozef Loskot and Eleanora Brzostowska.
Taduesz was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He loved gardening, plants, forests and picking mushrooms. He enjoyed collecting watches and clocks. At the age of 78, he bikes the Dutchess County Rail Trail to the Walkway over the Hudson. He also loved to sing, play the guitar, sketch, and traveling to Poland.
On February 14, 2001 in Beekman, Tadeusz married Teresa Kucnerowicz who survives at home. Survivors also include his children, Dorota Kaminska and her husband Olaf of Poland, Agnieszka Brzostowska-Waloch and her husband Darek of Poland and Rafal Brzostowski of Fishkill; his 5 grandchildren; his great grandchild; and his sister Stanislawa Loskot of Hopewell Junction.
Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Association.
