Tara F. Bulzacchelli

Tara F. Bulzacchelli, 63, an area resident since 1989 and formerly of Carmel, Yorktown and Yonkers, died peacefully at her home on June 10, 2026 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Yonkers on April 24, 1963, she was the daughter of Joseph and Evelyn (Lockington) Chiarito. Tara began her career as a Registered Nurse, serving patients in Med/Surg and Oncology at Northern Westchester Hospital and Phelps Memorial Hospital. She later transitioned to adult and pediatric end-of-life homecare, where she provided compassionate and supportive care to ensure patient comfort. Her gentle demeanor and unwavering commitment to her patients' well-being left an indelible mark on their lives.

Tara enjoyed gardening, antiquing, arts and crafts, music, animals and taking walks, but more than anything, her family was the center of her world. She will be remembered for her unwavering love, kindness, and the many lives she touched throughout her remarkable journey.

Tara is survived by her husband John J. Bulzacchelli; her sons, John C. Bulzacchelli and his wife Tanya, and Joseph M. Bulzacchelli; her grandson, James Bulzacchelli; her parents, Joseph and Evelyn Chiarito; and her sister, Kim Spruck.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 9:30-11:30am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 12pm at St. Joseph's Church, 15 North Avenue, Millbrook followed by interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
