BEEKMAN – Teresa M. Cranston, 85, passed away unexpectedly on November 28, 2023 at the Lutheran Care Center with family members at her side.

Born in Dublin, Ireland on June 23, 1938, she was one of eleven children of John and Theresa (Byrne) Ryan. Teresa had been employed as the office manager for Gallagher Newman Insurance Company in White Plains. She was a parishioner of St. Denis Church. Teresa loved to travel and brought joy to friends and family in numerous states and countries around the world. She enjoyed crocheting, and watching classic movies and most of all the Hallmark Channel, but more than anything, she cherished her grandchildren.

Teresa is survived by her children and their spouses, Kenneth and Rosemary Cranston, Theresa Cranston, Anna and Troy Christy, and Diane and Jeff Powell; her grandchildren, Robert, Deanna, Jenna, John Ryan, Troy, Lauren, John William, Kenneth Louis, Christopher, Tara, Tyler and Bryan; her great-grandchildren, Rhett, Skylar, Ryan, Evan and Robert, and was looking forward to the arrival of Baby "V" in January 2024; her siblings, Margaret, Fran and Paddy; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Cranston; her granddaughter, Bryanna; and her siblings, Anges, Mary, Charlie, John, Betty, Anna and Joe.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 10am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
