WAPPINGERS FALLS - Theresa A. Buoniconti, 83, formerly of The Villages, FL and Mount Vernon, died on February 2, 2018 at the Wingate at Dutchess.

Born in Mount Vernon on March 24, 1934, she was the daughter of Phillip and Gussie Chiodo. Terry had worked for the Westchester County Department of Social Services for many years. She was a member of the NYS Italian American Club. In Florida, she was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed quilting and playing Marjong.

On May 15, 1955 at Our Lady of Victory Church in Mount Vernon, Terry married Richard J. Buoniconti who survives at home. She is also survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and John Rothe, Lynn and James Fearon; her grandchildren, Aubrey, Jeffrey, Erin, Michael and Melissa; her great-granddaughters, Teigan and Kaedyn; and her great-grandson, Malachi.

Calling hours on Monday from 2-4pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by a service at 4pm.
