Theresa Jean Glorioso, 96, a resident of Beacon since 1984 and formerly of Hopewell Junction, Yonkers and the Bronx, died on Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Wingate at Beacon. She went to Heaven to spend her 74th Wedding Anniversary with her husband.
Born in Manhattan on January 4, 1918, she was the daughter of John and Gilda Riccardeli Garabo. Theresa was a member of the Fishkill Senior Citizens where she performed with the Kazoo Band.
On November 21, 2014 in the Bronx, Theresa married Pasquale Glorioso who predeceased her on September 10, 1981. She is survived by her daughter, Rose Marie Passarelli of Fishkill; her daughter-in-law, Bea Glorioso of New City; her grandchildren, Rhonda and Robert Stoffel of Poughkeepsie, Robert and Dolores Passarelli of Florida, Anthony Passarelli of New City, Gina Glorioso of New City, and Karen Glorioso of Wappingers Falls; her great-grandchildren, Lucas, Taeha, Madison, Robert, Anthony and Nicole; her niece, Marie O'Toole; her nephews, Salvatore and Frank Oliveri; and many other nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Anthony Glorioso; her sister, Pauline Oliveri; and her brothers, Anthony and Frank Garabo.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill followed by interment in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
