It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Theresa Igoe on January 19, 2021, who fought a courageous battle against cancer.

Theresa was born in the Bronx February 3, 1935 to Patrick and Nora Corless. Theresa married Edward Igoe October 19, 1957. Together they had 5 children and raised their family in Hicksville, Long Island. Edward predeceased Theresa in October of 1995.

Theresa is survived by her children Maryeileen and her husband Donald McCarthy, Edward Igoe and his wife Randi (deceased), Maureen and her husband Stephen Mulholland, Theresa and her husband Thomas Wilson, and Thomas Igoe and his wife Janet. Theresa is also blessed with 10 grandchildren Taryn and Chelsea Igoe, Gina and Danielle Delgaudio (deceased), Sheena McCarthy, T.J. and Tara Wilson, Christina, T.J. and Johnny Igoe, and 3 great grandchildren. Theresa is survived by her siblings Patricia and Chris Moore, Edward (deceased) and Betty Corless, Joseph and Cathy Corless, and Maureen and Jack Grogan (deceased), with many nieces and nephews.

Theresa moved to Lagrangeville in 1999 with her daughter Maureen. She was an avid reader and enjoyed reading romance novels. Most recently, Theresa lived in Millbrook in senior housing where she enjoyed spending time with many friends. She really enjoyed her Saturday day trips, exploring the Hudson Valley region and enjoying lunch out with the girls.

Services will be held at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY 12524. Viewing hours will be from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Interment will be Friday, January 22, 2021 at 11:30am at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale NY.
