Theresa Marie LaQuadra, 80, a resident of Dutchess County since 1989 and formerly of Yonkers, died on Monday, February 7, 2011.
Born on May 17, 1930 in Hoboken, NJ and raised in the Bronx, she was the daughter of John and Molly Downes Dunn. She was a devout Catholic who was devoted to St. Therese and a parishioner of St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction. She was a great cook, loved to travel and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Victor LaQuadra; her children, Gregory LaQuadra of North Liberty, IA, Kathy LaQuadra of Manhattan, Laura Felice and her husband Gregg of Pawling and Tina Correia and her husband Joe of Yonkers; and her grandchildren, Samantha, Lana, Juliette, Joseph and Brian.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11 am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
