SALT POINT – Theresa A. Myers, 84, died peacefully on February 6, 2024 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She joined her parents and her beloved husband in Heaven.

Born in Fall River, MA on December 5, 1939, she was the daughter of Robert and Marianna Schofield. Theresa grew up in Brooklyn and Queens, and finally settled in Salt Point. She was a Mom, a Girl Scout leader and a consummate volunteer and supporter of not for profits all over the east coast of the country. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity to all she met.

On September 9, 1961 in Ozone Park, Theresa married William Allan Myers, Sr. who predeceased her on June 6, 2020. She is survived by her daughter Susan Planty and her husband Jeff; her sons William Myers and his wife Christine, and Robert J. Myers and Maureen; her grandchildren, Melissa and PJ Masullo, Meghan Myers, Erin and Richie Dicasoli, Willy Myers, Shannon Myers, Jessica Myers, Brian Myers and Catherine Myers; and great grandson Hunter.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 1-3pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a service at 2:30pm. Private interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
