Thomas A. “Chip” Avezzano, 51, an area resident since 1968 and formerly of Yonkers, died on Monday, November 5, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Yonkers on February 21, 1961, he was the son of Thomas J. and Jeanne Peet Avezzano. Chip is survived by his sisters, Carol Avezzano of Poughquag and Jean Emerson and husband Charles of Carmel; his nieces and nephews, Meghan, Bobby, Carolyn, Melissa, Chuck, Danielle and Joshua; and ten great-nieces and great-nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 6-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will follow at 8pm. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
