Thomas "Tom" Allan Berkwitt, age 59, passed away on March 29, 2024 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was born on February 10, 1965 in the Bronx to Myron and Elizabeth (Carney) Berkwitt.

Tom was self-employed and worked various construction jobs. He was a big animal lover and enjoyed spending time with his friends.

Tom is survived by his mother Elizabeth "Betty" Berkwitt; his brother Dan Berkwitt and his wife Ce'cia of Wooster, OH; his sisters Lisa Berkwitt of East Fishkill; Kate Danvers and her husband Alan of New Milford, CT; and his 3 nephews Kyle Wadkins and Bennett and Quinn Danvers.

He was predeceased by his father Myron "Mel" Berkwitt.

Calling hours will be held on Friday April 5, 2024 from 4-7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the East Fishkill Rescue Squad, 2502 Route 52 Hopewell Junction, NY 12533 in memory of Tom.
