Thomas J. Dombroski, devoted husband, loving father, and renaissance man, passed away on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, at age 63, at his home on Lake Wallenpaupack, PA surrounded by his family.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Austin; his mother, Gloria; and his daughter, Teresa. He is survived by his wife, Ann; children: Melissa and her husband, Ed; Jonathan; and Jennifer and her husband, Patrick; his brother Mike and his wife, Kathy; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Tom was born on March 22nd, 1959 in Poughkeepsie, New York, where he was raised, and attended school, graduating in 1977 from Roy C. Ketcham High School, and later attended Dutchess Community College. Tom made great use of his considerable technical abilities and led a successful career as an HVAC mechanic, spanning 35 years. While tending bar at O'Toole's, he met the love of his life, Ann, and they were married on September 11th, 1982. Together, they settled in Wappingers Falls, New York, and welcomed four children into a loving home.

Tom enjoyed traveling with his family to new and different places, and did so often. He would always try to not only relax and have fun, but also to visit places with museums and historical sites nearby to satisfy his love of learning. He was always taking up projects around the house, often several at one time, and he engineered many creative home improvements. Later in life, Tom and Ann purchased a home on Lake Wallenpaupack in Pennsylvania, where he spent his time racing his motorboat up and down the stretch of the lake, sipping on local wines, and spending time with his family.

Tom will be missed, but he will be fondly remembered for his hard-working nature, intense curiosity, wry wit, and love and thoughtfulness for his family and friends.

There will be a visitation on Wednesday, June 8th from 4:00pm-8:00pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY.
