Thomas Lee Smith, 69, a resident of Hopewell Junction and formerly of Alabama, died on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at his home.

Born in Haleyville, AL on October 12, 1940, he was the son of Truman Orso and Purnie Caroline Guthrie Smith.  He was employed as a crew foreman for the Alabama Power Company for 36 years until his retirement in 1996.

In 1962 in Haleyville, AL, he married Jimmie Lou Wilson who predeceased him in 1990.

The funeral services will be held at the Pinkard Funeral Home and interment will be in the Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville, AL.
