WOODSIDE, QUEENS – Timothy Patrick Connaughton, 58, a lifelong resident of Queens, passed away at home on December 31, 2022.

Born in Queens on May 29, 1964, Timothy was the son of the late Thomas and Patricia (Carr) Connaughton. He had been employed as an operating engineer for George Comfort and Sons in Manhattan. He will be remembered as a hardworking man who loved his family more than anything else.

Timothy is survived by his children, Brendan Connaughton of Wappingers Falls and Caitlin Connaughton of Wappingers Falls; his brothers, Sean Connaughton and his wife Margaret of Hopewell Junction and Thomas Connaughton, Jr. of Bronxville; his aunts, Sheila Regan and Jeannie Carr; his former wife, Leona Connaughton; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 5 - 8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
