Timothy McDonald, a resident of Marlboro for almost 20 years, and previously of Orlando, Florida, passed away on September 10, 2024, at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh. He was 53 years old.

Tim was born on June 3, 1971, to Maurice McDonald and Joanna Kurtright, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He earned his bachelor's degree at DeVry University and went on to work as an electrical engineer for Applied Materials. On November 12, 1999, in Orlando, Florida, Tim married his loving wife, Jennifer Dang.

A sports fanatic and dedicated fan, Tim's teams included the New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, and Iowa Hawkeye football and wrestling. Tim found joy in coaching youth sports, especially his children's teams, football, basketball, baseball and softball. When he wasn't cheering on his teams or coaching, Tim enjoyed a round of golf.

Tim is survived by his wife, Jennifer McDonald; his daughter, Taylor McDonald; his son, Ryan McDonald; his father, Maurice McDonald; his mother, Joanna O'Connor and her husband, David; his brother, Kevin McDonald and his wife, Jennifer; his brother, Michael McDonald and his wife, Heather; his father-in-law, Gioi Dang; and his loving in-laws and their families. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Hao Dang.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc. A funeral service will take place Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc. Burial will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery at 12:00 PM in Fishkill, NY.
