Usha Bhargava, 90, an area resident for 25 years and formerly of India, died peacefully on May 4, 2026 at her home.

Born in Mathura, India on November 17, 1935, she was the daughter of Harish and Chaman Bhargava . Usha was a member of Hindu Samaj where she enjoyed activities including Generation United Seniors. An avid painter, she attended the Poughkeepsie Senior Center. Every summer she looked forward to the Dutchess County Office for the Aging Senior Picnics.

Usha is survived by her children, Nishi and Nimesh Bhargava and his wife Ritu, and her younger sister, Monika as well as many nieces & nephews. Her 4 grandchildren, Ridhi, Rushali, Anshul and Anusha were a constant source of joy. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Retired Lt. Col. Dr. P.S. Bhargava; two sisters, and a brother.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 6, at 1pm at the crematory at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale.
