Veronica
Conlan
March 12, 1961 – April 15, 2026
WAPPINGERS FALLS - Veronica (Ronnie) Ann Conlan, 65, a lifelong resident of Westchester County, died on April 15, 2026.
Born in Yonkers on March 12, 1961, Ronnie was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Spakowski) Conlan, Sr. , and granddaughter of the late Ann Spakowski-Emerson.
Ronnie dedicated over 30 years to teaching and tutoring children from all walks of life, leaving a lasting and positive impact on her students. She was always a steadfast advocate, standing up for herself and others. Her strong faith in God led her to serve as a Eucharistic minister at her church for many years. You could often find her singing along to her favorite church hymn, "On Eagles Wings".
Ronnie had a love for flowers, shopping, family photos, White Diamonds perfume, and ice-cold Coca-Cola. Ronnie especially enjoyed buying holiday-themed shirts and pajamas for her grandsons, never missing a holiday or special occasion.
She is survived by her daughter, Brittany and her husband Gary Kochie, Jr. of Wappingers Falls; her grandsons who she affectionately called her "Sunshine Grandbabies", Gary Kochie III, Theodore Kochie, and Alexander Kochie; her siblings, Joseph Conlan, Jr. and Kathleen Conlan-McCambridge; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Tuesday, April 21st from 5pm - 7pm, with a memorial service at 6:45 pm.
