HOPEWELL JUNCTION - Victor J. Paolo, MD, 75, died on August 12, 2024 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Formerly of Millbrook, he had also lived in Armonk, Scarsdale, and the Bronx.
Born in Harlem on May 1, 1949, Victor was the son of the late John and Mary (Boiano) Paolo. Dr. Paolo practiced medicine in Staten Island for many years before opening Victor J. Paolo, MD Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center in Millbrook, finally retiring in 2008.
In 2009 at St. Kateri Church in LaGrangeville, Victor married Genny Azcona Paolo who survives at home after 18 years together. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas Paolo; his stepson and his wife, Marty and Katie Azcona; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gisela and Scott Roubeck, Fior Azcona and Rafael Bonilla, Carmen Azcona, Luis Azcona, Rafael Azcona, and Jose A. Azcona; his mother-in-law, Monica Azcona; his nieces, Fior Maria, Allie, and Maria Alejandra Bonilla; and many close friends, especially Stephen O'Hare and Mark Badame.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Kateri Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville followed by burial at Kenscio Cemetery in Valhalla.
