EAST FISHKILL – Victor L. Rivera, 53, an area resident for 11 years and formerly of the Bronx, died suddenly on December 24, 2023 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on October 29, 1970, son of Rafael Rivera Sanchez and Leonides Nieves Rivera.

Victor was loved by everyone, and his sense of humor was unmatched. His devotion to his wife and children was undeniable. He was everyone's person and always a phone call away. Victor enjoyed a good cigar and a glass of whiskey surrounded by great company.

Victor is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Odaliz Rivera; his sons, Victor Luis Rivera Jr. and Nicholas Paul Rivera.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday December 30th from 2-4pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc, 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a celebration of his life at 4pm.
