Victoria A. Morales, 32, a resident of Beekman since 1993, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 23, 2015 at home. She previously lived in the Bronx.
Victoria was born in the Bronx on February 14, 1982. She was a 2000 graduate of Arlington High School and attended classes at Dutchess Community College. Victoria had been employed as a Dental Assistant for Quality Dental Care in Hopewell Junction for the past five years.
She was a parishioner at St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction. Victoria liked cooking and traveling, as well as watching television and movies. Most of all, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
She is survived by her mother, Irma (Muniz) Morales of Beekman; her sister, Alexis Morales of Beekman; her brother, Rafael Morales, Jr. of the Bronx; her grandparents, Andrea Padilla Asencio and Antonio Muniz; her aunts, Iris Muniz-Collazo and her husband Jose Gilbert, Ada Muniz, and Arleenda Muniz; her cousins, Ashlie Ayala, Jose Medina and his wife Eirinn Flynn-Medina, Aura Medina, and Jeff Muniz. She was predeceased by her father, Rafael Morales, Sr. on September 5, 1997 and her grandparents, Alejandro and Victoria Morales.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 7-9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday at 11 am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction. Burial will be private at St. Denis Cemetery.
