Vincent Scocchera, 93, of Cortlandt Manor, died on May 4, 2016. Born in the Bronx on September 16, 1922, he was son of the late Gennaro and Theresa (Turco) Scocchera.

He proudly served in the US Army during World War II, and was a member of American Legion and life member of the Elks Club. He also enjoyed cooking.

His wife Anna Menieri Scocchera predeceased him. Survivors include children, Dianna (Vincent) DeGloria, Vincent Scocchera, Jr., and Margaret Nordone; grandchildren, Sandra (Carl) Fragnito, Vincent Nordone, and Craig Nordone; and great-grandchildren, Britany Decintio, Leonardo Fragnito, and Lucian Nordone. He was predeceased by brother Tulio Scocchera.
