Vincenza DiPasqua

Vincenza DiPasqua, a resident of Beacon, NY for the past 58 years, passed away on October 16, 2026, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 85 years old.

Born on May 27, 1941, in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Vivian (Tambori) Cerniglia.

On June 11, 1960, Vincenza married the love of her life, Hugo DiPasqua, at Immaculate Conception Church in the Bronx. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised their family, sharing more than 66 years of marriage. Hugo survives at home.

Vincenza, known by her family and friends as Ginger, worked as an insurance underwriter for MetLife, beginning in Poughkeepsie and eventually retiring from the Yorktown Heights branch.

Family was at the heart of everything Ginger did. She loved bringing everyone together and took great pride in hosting family holidays, filling her home with the wonderful aromas of her cooking and baking, and creating traditions that will be cherished for generations. She was a devoted mother who even served as class mom for her children, always finding ways to be involved and make a difference. Whether she was spending time with her family and close friends, enjoying a game of cards or a favorite board game, or trying her luck at the casinos and slot machines. She spent many a weekend at the Jersey shore throwing in a fishing line or pulling up a crab net. Ginger knew how to enjoy life and make lasting memories with those around her.

Ginger will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Hugo DiPasqua; her daughter, Laura Triolo, and son-in-law, Frank Triolo; her son, Frank DiPasqua; her grandchildren, Amanda Triolo and her fiancé, Durand Jackson, and Stephanie Devine and her husband, Stephen; and her great-granddaughter, Emma Devine. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law, Frank DiPasqua and his wife, Barbara, and Lenny DiPasqua and his wife, Annette, along with nieces Debra Dixson and Maria Jones and nephew Joseph DiPasqua and their families. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law Phyllis DiPasqua and nephew Frank DiPasqua.

Ginger leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories, family traditions, and the love she so generously shared. Her home and heart were always open to those she loved, and her presence will be forever missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
