Virginia G. Condon, a longtime resident of Dutchess County, passed away on March 13, 2026, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 83 years old.

Born on January 30, 1943, in Mt. Vernon, New York, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Minnie (Bally) Hartmann.

On September 2, 1962, in Mt. Vernon, NY, she married the love of her life, Thomas Condon Sr., who predeceased her in 2016.

Virginia worked for many years as an Office Manager at Wykagyl Country Club in New Rochelle, NY.

Virginia was an active member of the "Sew Whats" sewing club and enjoyed volunteering at Vanderbilt Gardens. She also helped teach Brain Games at the LaGrange Library and volunteered at local election polls. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, Facebook, and playing computer games. Above all, she cherished spending time with her grandchildren and loved chatting with friends while out to eat or sightseeing throughout the area.

She is survived by her loving children, Thomas Condon Jr. (Peggy), Barbara Darcy (John), and Debra Condon (Robert Kootz). She was a proud grandmother to Joseph Condon (Lauren Anthony), Kevin Condon (Emily), Kyle Darcy (Blanca), Bryan Darcy, Michael Darcy, and Anthony Rivera. Virginia was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Freddy, Evelyn, Liliana, Jack, and Zaley, along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Denise Condon.

Calling hours will be on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the McHoul Funeral Home Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY, from 4 PM - 6 PM, with a service beginning in the funeral home at 6 PM.
