December 7, 1940 – January 11, 2026
Virginia R. Harris, a lifelong resident of the Beacon and Fishkill area, passed away peacefully at her home on January 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was 85 years old.

Above all else, Virginia loved being with her family; treasuring every moment of togetherness, laughter, and shared memories.
She is survived by her loving children: Karen Harden (Scott), Laurie Marinaccio (Tim), Jeffrey Hockler (Kelly), and Bill Hockler (Jo-Anne). She was a devoted grandmother to Candice Walker (Chris), Jordan Marinaccio, Courtney Azzone (Drew), Charlie Marinaccio, Ryan Harden, Amanda Gianciotti (Nick), Celena Hockler (Steve), Jessica Hockler, Will Hockler, Danielle Hockler ( T.J. ) and William Hockler (Janelle), and a proud great-grandmother to nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Charles, Virginia was predeceased by her sons Bryan Hockler and Tim Hockler, and her sister Duane Galletta.
Virginia will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. Her love was unconditional, whose heart was generous, and whose presence made life richer for everyone she knew. Her legacy of care, warmth, and devotion lives on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of calling her family or friend.
