Vito Vitucci's Obituary
Vito N. Vitucci, 94, a LaGrangeville resident, died at the Putnam Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Holmes on Thursday, March 11, 2010.
Born in Bari, Italy on May 9, 1915, he was son of the late Girolamo and Domenica Piccininni Vitucci. For many years, he worked as a Presser in Manhattan's garment industry. He served in the Italian Air Force for 11 years.
Vito was predeceased by his wife, Anna Circelli Vitucci, in 1973.
Survivors include a son, Jerome R. Vitucci (Susan) of Brooklyn; two daughters, Mary Ann Riina (Dominick) of LaGrangeville and Lori Dinelli (Joseph) of Florida; sister, Rose Diano of Long Island; grandchildren, Ricky Vitucci, Alexandra Dinelli-Franklin (Kyle), Daniel Dinelli, and Sydney Dinelli.
He was additionally predeceased by his son Richard Vitucci in 1996; and his siblings, Lena Vacca, Nick Vitucci, Anna Pia, Rose Diano, and Frank Vitucci.
Calling hours are from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. Sunday at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Blessed Kateri Tekawitha Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
