Walter Dimaria's Obituary
EAST FISHKILL - Walter C. DiMaria, 92, an area resident for 56 years and formerly of Long Island and Dobbs Ferry, died on August 24, 2022.
Born in Queens on November 10, 1929, he was the son of Giuseppe and Emily (Smith) DiMaria. Walter had been employed as a purchasing agent for IBM, Yorktown Heights and was one of Jehovah's Witnesses with the Hopewell Congregation.
Walter was predeceased by his wife, Barbara, in 2016. He is survived by his sons and their wives, Walter and Laurie DiMaria, and Philip and Teresa DiMaria; and his grandchildren, Emily Caito, Ethan DiMaria and Erin DiMaria.
Donations may be made in memory of Walter to the Catskill Animal Sanctuary in Saugerties.
