Walter Hirschmugl's Obituary
Walter was born in Graz, Austria on November 14, 1914. After coming to the United States as a child, he resided at the Wartburg Home in Mount Vernon.
He and his wife raised their children in Yonkers, where they lived for many years.
His last three years were spent at The Manor at Woodside in Poughkeepsie, where he made many new friends and acquaintances and participated in many of the programs offered by the Manor on a daily basis.
Walter was a proud, remarkable man with a kind and generous heart … a gentleman.
To know him was a privilege; to have him as our dad was amazing. He will be missed by all forever.
