With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of William Gerard Beyer, 67, who died on July 31, 2025 at his home. It was a tremendous loss to all who knew and loved him. Born in the Bronx on January 16, 1958, he was the son of William J. Beyer, Jr. and Judith G. (Vacchelli) Beyer. Bill was the owner and operator of W.G. Beyer Construction for many years.

Bill enjoyed playing poker with his lifetime friends. He also loved motorcycles and cars. Bill knew everyone and he was a seriously good friend. If you needed something, Bill was there and he always did more than expected. He will be remembered not only for his professional contributions but also for his kindness and the love he had for his family and friends.

On August 30, 1980 at St. Denis Church, Bill married the love of his life, Linda Pruitt, who predeceased him on January 12, 2025. He is survived by his parents, Bill and Judy; his children, Daniel James Beyer and Shannon Nicole Beyer and her husband, Michael Townshend; his grandchildren, William "Billy", Neil and Mallory; his siblings, Lynne Ann Theodoseau and her husband Matthew, Karen Millard, Beth Daley, John Beyer, and Timothy Beyer; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his wife, he was also predeceased by his sister, Judith White; and his brothers-in-law, Raymond Millard and James Daley.

A celebration of life for Bill and Linda will be held in the future.
