William L. Bogle, age 81, passed away on September 13, 2023, at Danbury Hospital.

Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on August 5, 1942, to the late William and Mildred (Klaes) Bogle. On September 24, 1967, in Roosevelt, NY, he married his loving wife Judy (Fleming) Bogle.

Bill or Billy as he was lovingly known began his life of public service in 1959. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from 1959-1965. In 1999, Detective Bogle retired from the Nassau County Police Department in Long Island, NY after 33 years. In keeping with a life of service, after retirement Bill became a Eucharistic Minister. He loved fishing, hunting, reading the newspaper and watching sports. His favorite teams were the NY Yankees, Jets, and Islanders.

In addition to his wife Judy, Bill beloved father and Pop is survived by his daughters Michele Spadola and her husband Aaron, and Christine Bogle-Austein; his grandchildren Alex and Emily; and his sister Mary Troland and her husband Richard.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023, from 1 pm – 4pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m.
