William T. Cross, 79, of Hatfield, PA and formerly of Raleigh, NC and LaGrangeville, NY, died on Sunday, June 5, 2011.

Born in LaGrangeville, NY on March 30, 1932, he was the son of Theodore and Anna Cross. He was a graduate of Delhi University and served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was employed as an engineer at IBM, East Fishkill, NY and Raleigh, NC until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of Corpus Christi Church in Lansdale, PA and volunteered with the Wellness Center. He enjoyed golfing, reading and traveling and he loved spending time at the Cross family vacation home in Lake George.

William is survived by his wife Hazel; his children, Christopher Cross of Louisiana, Sue McCormack and her husband Mike of Rhinebeck, NY, David Cross and his wife Robin of Willow Springs, NC and Stephen Cross and his wife Kim of Pleasant Valley, NY; his grandchildren, Aaron, Elizabeth, Ethan, Austin, Chase, Thomas, Jonathan, Samantha and Matthew; his brothers, Bob and Tom Cross of LaGrangeville, NY; his stepsons, Steve, David, Jim and Todd McAuliff; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Marilyn Baker Cross, in 1998 and his brother, Ted Cross.

There are no calling hours. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:30 am at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 6 South Cross Road, LaGrangeville followed by interment in LaGrangeville Cemetery with military honors. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
