FISHKILL – William Laham, 86, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 14, 2012, surrounded by his loving wife and family.
Born in the Borough of Brooklyn on February 16, 1925, he was the son of the late Ameen and Wadia Fotie Laham. He was predeceased by his beloved brothers, Albert and George Laham. On May 16, 1948, Bill married his childhood and life-long sweetheart, Marie Beshara. Their sixty-three year marriage produced a close-knit, devoted family, whom Bill loved above all else. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Barbara Dolan and her husband Ronald of Hopewell Junction, William Laham and his wife Debra of Fishkill, June Kiesbye and her husband Scott of Wappingers Falls, and his former son-in-law Paul Ruggieri; his grandchildren, Tara Dolan, William C. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. Bill also had a distinguished career in real estate at Century 21 and was a member of the Million Dollar Club of Realtors. He will be remembered for his patriotism (and conservatism), his sense of humor, his penchant for Frank Sinatra, and his unconditional love for his family.
