FISHKILL – William H. McCourt, 77, a lifelong area resident, died on December 15, 2021 at his home.

Born in Poughkeepsie on February 25, 1944, he was the son of William and Anna (Cox) McCourt. He proudly served our country in the US Army during the Vietnam War, and he was a self-employed mason. He had been a member of the New Hackensack Reformed Church and the Mid County Rod & Gun Club. An avid sports enthusiast, William especially enjoyed baseball and loved going to the Hudson Valley Renegades games.

William is survived by his children and their spouses, Tammy (Debbie) McCourt, Lisa (Christopher) Keller, Chrissy (Luis) Colon, William (Christina) McCourt, Justin (Jasmine) McCourt, Erica McCourt, and Alicia McCourt; 23 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, his brother, several sisters, and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a service at 7pm.
