William J. Rinck, age 85, passed away on September 20, 2024 at his granddaughter's home in Berne, NY. William was born on September 8, 1939 in Queens, NY to the late William and Margaret (Cook) Rinck. William married his beloved wife Carolyn D. (Skidgell) Rinck on February 25, 1977. They enjoyed many happy years together until her death in 2008.

William proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. He worked as an airplane mechanic for Pan Am and Delta Airlines. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Mary's Council #4065, serving the parishes of St. Columba in Hopewell Junction and St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill. Later in life, William was a member of the Widowers and Widows Club.

He is survived by his children Maureen Radhke, and Karen Perrault and her husband Adam; his grandchildren: Jessica, Heather, Marion, Grace, Gregory, and Gabriella, as well as 13 great-grandchildren; his siblings Margaret Cairo and Kenneth Rinck; his sister-in-law Georgetta Rinck; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his beloved wife Carolyn, William was also pre-deceased by his granddaughter Victoria.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday September 24, 2024 from 3-7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday September 25, 2024 at 10 am at St. Columba Church 835 Route 82 Hopewell Junction, followed by burial in Mount Hope Cemetery 50 Jackson Ave Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
