HOPEWELL JUNCTION -Wolfgang G. Winklharrer, born August 23, 1942, was a warrior and fought valiantly to stay in this life for his daughter, Christa, his granddaughter Erika, and his wife of 47 years, Florence.

When the Lord finally called him home on August 20, 2024, he was escorted to his final reward by his son, Erich, who predeceased him in 2008, and has been waiting for his beloved father. They are now together again – safe and warm in God's embrace.

Services are being held on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 2-4 pm and 6–8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill.
