BEACON – Yolaine Ann Marie Jeannot Rodriguez, a longtime Dutchess County resident, passed away at home on Monday, January 6, 2020. She was 79 years old.

Daughter of the late Morys Jeannot and Anne Andre Jeannot, she was born in Les Cayes , Haiti on August 27, 1940.

On October 21, 1967 she married George R. Rodriguez in New York City. She was predeceased by her husband on March 26, 2012.

Yolaine worked as an Executive Assistant for Societe General Bank in New York City until she retired. She was an excellent cook and a fan of Elvis Presley. She also enjoyed needle point stitching and crossword puzzles . For many years, she resided in Tobyhanna in Mt Poconos, PA, then relocated to live with her son in 2012 .

Survivors include her son, Morys George Rodriguez and his wife Amy Lee Rodriguez of Beacon ; her sister, Yves Jeannot of Houston, TX; her brother-in-law, Angelo Rodriguez of Fishkill; and many other loving relatives & friends.

Yolaine will be remembered for her great sense of humor and steadfast dedication to her family.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 16 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 17 at the funeral home, followed by interment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
