HOPEWELL JUNCTION – Yolanda Kelemen, 90, died on September 18, 2021 surrounded by family. She previously lived in the Bronx and then Florida before moving to Hopewell Junction two years ago.
Born in Hungary on February 7, 1931, Yolanda was the daughter of the late John Kocsis and Maria Teriasia Udvardi. She retired as superintendent from Sailon Realty in the Bronx. Yolanda was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Paul Kelemen, who died in 1996.
Yolanda enjoyed watching the Christmas Prince on Netflix as well as doing chores around the house. Most of all, she loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Mary Padilioni and her husband David of Franklin, PA, Suzy D'Elia of St. Petersburg, FL, and John Kelemen and his wife Jeanette of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren, Melanie and her husband Scott, Chris, Jeni and her husband Remi, Cayla and her husband Will, and Lauren; and her great-granddaughter, EV.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday 9/23 from 5-7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday 9/24 at 10 am at St. Kateri Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville.
