With heavy hearts, we announce the untimely passing of Zachary Norman Davis (Calogero), age 35, who left this world on September 28, 2026, following a tragic motorcycle accident in Richmond, VA. A cherished son, brother, father, and friend, Zach was born on September 19, 1991, in Middletown, NY, raised in LaGrangeville, NY, and later called Goochland, VA, his home.

Zach was the beloved son of John and Kathleen Calogero. He attended Our Lady of Lourdes High School, graduating in 2009, before continuing his education at The College of Saint Rose and Dutchess Community College. Zach dedicated almost a decade of his life to serving with the Richmond Police Department, but his true calling came when he followed his passion for dogs and fitness. He ultimately founded The Barkhouse, a K9 coaching business that brought him much joy.

Zach was passionate about life and the things he valued most: his daughter Cecelia, his beloved dogs, and his commitment to fitness. Those who knew him will remember his profound ability to care deeply and protect those close to him, affirming his belief in the importance of love, connection, and the joy of life. He had a contagious spirit and a warmth that drew people close, leaving an indelible mark on all those fortunate enough to cross his path.

He is survived by his loving parents, John and Kathleen; his precious daughter Cecelia and her mother Daina Cummings; his grandparents, William and Patricia (Campanaro) Calogero, Susan Townsend, and Joyce Davis; his devoted siblings and their spouses, Angelo and Megan Calogero, Isabella and Jack Balasiano, Giuliana and Christian Torres, Troy Davis, Tyler Davis, Carli Vinson; his cherished nephews, Levi and Vincenzo; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever remember his kind heart and vibrant spirit.

Zach's family will receive friends and loved ones during calling hours at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Thursday, October 8 from 4-8pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction on Friday, October 9 at 10am, followed by interment at St. Denis Cemetery.
