Obituary for
Dino Rocco Tonelli
WATERBURY, CT – Dino Rocco Tonelli, 32, died suddenly on May 25, 2016 at the Waterbury Hospital.
Born in the Bronx on January 11, 1984, he was the son of William J. Tonelli, Jr. and June Marie (Seiferheld) Tonelli. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Angelina June Marie Tonelli; his brother and sister-in-law, William J. and Charity Tonelli III; his stepfather, Anthony Gonzales; his grandparents, William J. Tonelli, Sr.; Elina and Piero Cordani; Regina Reno, Dolores Seiferheld; his step grandparents, Richard Reno, Gayle Seiferheld, and Genoveve “Queenie” Golzales; his aunts and uncles, Regina and Stephen Sokolik, Richard and Nicole Seiferheld, Andrea and Danny Draznin, Maureen Cipully, Greg Seiferheld, Justin Reno, Edward and Claudia Seiferheld, Lisa and Anthony Devunuto, Dino and Maria Tonelli; and his first cousins, Cory, Isabella, Noelani, Richard Jr., Breanna, Tyler, Sarah, Ashley, Clifford, Danielle, David, Joseph, Anthony, Marisa, Michael, Danny and a multitude of great aunts/uncles/cousins, and dear friends. Dino was predeceased by his grandparents, Clifford Anthony Seiferheld, and Inis Pellegrini Tonelli; his uncle, Clifford A. Seiferheld, Jr., and his great-grandparents, Gerald and Patricia Cancredi; Ann “Graham Cracker” Conklin, and Amelio and Yolanda Tonelli.
Dino touched the lives of all those who encountered him, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He will forever be remembered for his love of wrestling, Sesame Street, the NY Mets, billiards, golf, bowling, and horses. He was an avid fan of the Food Network and was fascinated by the work of police officers and always loved to “get arrested.”
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-6 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Church, 1209 Route 9W, Marlboro, NY.
Due to an allergy, the family asks that if you send flowers, please only send pollen free flowers (no lilies). Donations may be made in Dino’s memory to the NxStage Home Dialysis (National Kidney Foundation) or LaGrange Little League Challenger Division, which is a league for children with special needs.
