Rita A.  Mazzeo (Marshall)
Rita A. Mazzeo, of Dutchess County and Venice, Florida, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, died on November 12, 2016 in Venice, Florida after a long illness.

Born in Manhattan on October 23, 1947 to Thomas and Frances (Lawrence) Marshall, Rita graduated from the College of Mount St. Vincent in Riverdale, New York. Rita was employed by IBM in East Fishkill before becoming a manager at Dominion Semi Conductor in Virginia.

In 1968, she married Michael V. Mazzeo who survives her. She is also survived by her children, Michael Mazzeo of Chicago, IL, Claire Mazzeo-Gnau (Ronald) of Madison, WI, Christine Inserillo (Peter) of Hopewell Junction, Andrea Schoellig (Nicholas) of Stormville; her grandchildren, Anthony, James, Charlie, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Patrick, Jennifer, Gregory and Annmarie; her siblings, Thomas Marshall, Agnes Mulhern, Frances Cunningham and Joan Genovese; her dog, Ginger; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Abigail Schoellig.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
